BBC Spotlight August 2023
Not long after winning gold at the Junior Open Agility World Champioships, Will and Rudi were invited to the BBC studios to be interviewed for Spotlight – the BBC news programme for the south west.
Everyone there was incredibly welcoming and were clearly dog lovers! After a quick peek behind the scenes:
It was time for the RAW Agility pair to do their interview with Victoria Graham:
After the interview, lots of the production team came to say hello to Rudi and the other dogs in the RAW team, including Natalie Cornah who interviewed Will and Rudi on their way back from winning gold in Finland the year before. Natalie was particularly taken with Brave!:

Crufts March 2023
Will and Rudi won the Medium U18 final of Agility Dog of the Year which gave them a place in the Grand Final. This was broadcast live on Channel 4 with commentary by Jim Rosenthal and Graham Partridge. Click on the picture below to link to the clip:

While travelling back from winning their gold medal at the Junior Open Agility World Championships, Will and Rudi were again interviewed on Spotlight. Below is a recording of some of Will’s family watching his interview!

After becoming the youngest person to be selected for YKC Team GB in 2017, Will (aged 11) and Aston were interviewed on BBC Spotlight. This is the edited version of the interview that Spotlight put onto their Facebook page:
Our CBBC
In the year that Will and Rudi won for the first time at Crufts and Will and his dogs appeared in 6 championship finals. he was invited to appear on a programme for CBBC along with another YKC Team GB member, Taylor. The series (called Our CBBC) consisted of 16 short films where youngsters explained their pastimes and demonstrated their skills:
Little Big Shots
In 2017, shortly after appearing for Team GB, Will and Aston were invited to appear on Little Big Shots with Dawn French. This was a fantastic experience, as much to see what goes on behind the scenes as to appear on stage in front of the cameras and a large audience!
This clip is the first part of their appearance where Dawn interviews Will and meets Aston for the first time.
In this clip, Will shows Dawn how to ‘Walk the course’, runs Aston around a very tight course on the stage and then helps her to run Aston! This had us all laughing and Aston was better behaved than Dawn!
