Will, with Rudi, is a two-time Junior World Champion, 7 time YKC Crufts winner and has repeatedly appeared in Champ finals including winning reserve tickets with Rudi and Aston. Please explore the site to find videos, pictures and stories of this talented handler and his fantastic spaniels.
Fancy training with Will? Here’s your chance!
Will is running a series of Winter Workshops for some course running and training designed to test your partnership’s skills. The courses will be technically demanding and aimed at those currently competing at Grades 5+. Spaces are very limited.
Great for identifying Winter training needs and getting ready for higher grades or champ. The sessions are all at Devon Animal Training Academy (DATA) – click here for more details.

Will and Brave at WAO 2025!
In their most recent international adventure, Will and Brave were competing at the World Agility Open Championships in Ermelo and were very proud to be representing Scotland.
This was Will’s 4th visit to WAO but Brave’s debut. To see on their progress in both Biathlon and Pentathlon events against some of the world’s best:

Will Bacchus – Agility Handler
Will has been competing in agility since the age of 8. He has run four of his own dogs, Rudi, Aston, Wizard and Brave in competition. All are cocker spaniels who are pets first and competitors second.
Recently moving to the senior age bracket, Will was one of the top junior handlers in the country who has had multiple wins at Crufts, and competes regularly against the elite in Championship shows and finals. He has represented Team GB at the European Junior Open and the Junior Open World Agility Championships. He has also represented Team Scotland at the World Agility Open.

Training, training, and even more training
Will and his dogs spend a great deal of time honing their skills both at home and with their trainer Kathryn Stickney, a senior GB international who has represented and captained her country at the World Championships.
Every good agility handler will stress the importance of that special bond with your dog. There needs to be two way trust and a mutual understanding that comes from training and down time spent together.
Will and his dogs are inseparable! Rudi, Aston and Wizard are essential members of the Bacchus family first and agility dogs second. The bond that this creates between handler and dogs means they know what each other is thinking on the course.
